A B O U T

Yvette Roman

I am immensely thankful to everyone working quietly behind the scenes - all of the brilliant planners, designers, creative directors, florists, lighting and sound designers, rental companies, delivery drivers, tent putter-uppers, musicians, dj’s, barkeeps, chefs, and servers, who have lent their hands and imaginations to the events that we are so lucky to work on. You make the impossible beauty I get to photograph possible. The beauty that allows our clients to sit back and realize how many people love them, inside of a magical space that, once the night is over, will never exist again.

It is an enormous privilege to be invited into these private, intimate days to record what happens as you step into a completely new place in your life. From the moment we meet, to the moment the camera is picked up, to the moment you are given your final images and books, we aim to reach into your hearts and dreams to discover your story. Thank you for giving us your trust.

I have had the great fortune to lead and work side-by-side with a team of ridiculously talented associate photographers, past and present. I remain in awe of your capacity to commit to our work in the deepest way: To Kris, Suzi, Michelle, Todd, Aurelia, Marisa, Kelle, Kelsey…the most profound gratitude.

Yvette graduated with a BFA in photography from ArtCenter College of Design. Over the years, she has spun together a career of wedding, music, advertising, food/farm, and editorial photography. Her client list includes the weddings of Amy Adams & Darren LeGallo, Nicole Richie & Joel Madden, Nats Getty & Gigi Gorgeous, Matt & Melinda Reeves, Gavin O’Connor & Brooke Burns, and many others. Her wedding work has been featured in Martha Stewart Weddings, The Oprah Winfrey Show, People Magazine, Town & Country, Inside Weddings, Brides, and more. She divides her time between Los Angeles and the wilds of California’s Central Coast, where she and her husband and their rescue dog Wilson reside amongst the bees and coyotes.
